Know The Founder
Deeksha Gehlot Kyal is the Founder and Managing Counsel of LexIngenious
She is a human rights and free market enthusiast trained as a corporate lawyer. She believes that social evolution is an inevitable process. Innovators have the power to catalyse, and the responsibility to steer, this process into the right direction.
During her professional journey, she has worked with start-ups, micro, small and medium enterprises, social enterprises, non-profits, investment funds, grant makers, angel investors and HNIs. She has gained experience of working in various sectors including venture capital, private equity, impact finance, waste management, solar, water, health, education, e-commerce, blockchain, logistics, SaaS/ PaaS, IaaS, digital payments, big data, agri-tech, fintech, microfinance and infrastructure.
She believes in taking a problem-solving approach and being an enabler by providing simple legal solutions to complex problems.
She believes that her clients deserve strategic legal solutions curated to the problems they face on a case-to-case basis.
Accordingly, LexIngenious’ approach is to be an “enabler of progress” by finding practical and efficient legal solutions to complex challenges that its clients face.
Prior to setting up LexIngenious in 2017, Deeksha has worked with Impact Law Ventures (ILV), a boutique law firm working at the intersection of private equity, venture capital and social impact. She has also worked as a Legal Counsel (Start-ups & Social Innovation) with Ahlawat & Associates in a short stint.
Deeksha is a member of Young Indians (Delhi), an initiative of Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) and contributes on the Executive Committee of its “Entrepreneurship & Innovation” vertical. She is a corporate mentor at New Delhi Institute of Management (NDIM).
LexIngenious is an ecosystem partner at AIM Smart City Accelerator where Deeksha volunteers her time as a mentor for their various cohorts.She has a B.A. (LL.B.) (hons.) from Amity Law School, Noida, is registered with the Bar Council of Rajasthan and is eligible to practice law in India.
